Brian Wilkie, VP Business development, Power Architecture, AMCC2004 Brian joined AMCC in 2004 as VP and GM of the PowerPC® business which AMCC acquired from IBM. Having built up the team and the business, this has now been merged into the Integrated Communications Products Unit in order to maximize the benefit of PowerPC® across AMCC's product range. A native of Scotland, Brian spent 25 years with Motorola Semiconductor, first in Applications, then as European Marketing Manager for Microprocessors. In 1983 he moved to Austin, where he advanced to Vice President and General Manager of the Advanced Microcontroller Division.Mr. Wilkie holds a BSEE from Glasgow University in Scotland. He also holds several patents in the field of microcontroller architecture and timers.

Frederic Haine, GM, Network and Computing System Group Europe, Freescale SemiconductorFrederic Haine, General Manager for the Network and Computing System Group (NCSG) Europe, is a 20-year semiconductor industry veteran. Frederic joint Motorola semiconductor in 1995 where he served as Global Account Sales director, director of Sales for NCSG Europe and Director of Application of sales for the Wireless and Broadband System Group. Before joining Freescale in 1995, Frederic Haine occupied several positions of increasing responsibility in operations, marketing and sales at Thomson semiconductor in France and Harris semiconductor (now Intersil) in the United States. Frederic Haine holds a master of sciences from Ecole Centrale de Paris-France timers.

Ray Bryant, IBM Director of Games and Power Architecture SolutionsMr. Bryant’s current assignment is IBM Director of Games and Power Solutions within the Microelectronics Brand in IBM’s Systems and Technology Group. Mr. Bryant joined IBM in 1980 in East Fishkill, New York in process development for high performance multi-chip packaging. He has held a variety of positions across the Microelectronics Division and the Technology Group in IBM, including manager of Process Development, manager of System Quality Assurance, Design / Groundrules Manager, Director of Worldwide Packaging Applications, and Director of Emerging Product and Foundry Sales. Mr. Bryant received a Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry from Cornell University of Ithaca, New York, and a Master of Science in organic chemistry from Iowa State University of Ames, Iowa.
