Power.org in China
|
Power.org returned to China, where the Power.org movement began last
December, to hold its second community event. The conference, held
in the St. Regis hotel in Shanghai, on September 27th and 28th was
focused on innovative Power Architecture concepts, as well as design
tools and solutions for Power Architecture system-on-chip
developers. New members and technical developments were also
announced. |

| Open Collaboration: Essential to electronics innovation | Pankaj Mayor, group director of business development, industry alliances, Cadence Design Systems | The trend toward disaggregation or horizontalization is here to stay. However, a level of virtual reaggregation is happening across the industry; companies are collaborating in innovative ways to address the most challenging design and manufacturing issues. This is driving EDA companies, IP suppliers, semiconductor manufacturers, and others to work together to improve customer productivity and accelerate their path to silicon success. Ultimately, our customers' success in the nanometer era hinges on collaboration among leading companies in the design chain. |
