Power.org introduces new series of
technical seminars
|
Power.org has announced a new series of technical seminars designed to help bring the academic community into the discussion of Power. The academic community has played an important role in utilizing Power Architecture™ technology in new applications. Today, academics can join Power.org as members and have an impact on innovations in Power Architecture technology by collaborating with other academic institutions and with industry leaders, represented by Power.org's corporate members. Academic members will have the opportunity to influence the organization's reach and expand it into new and exciting application areas. Power.org recently welcomed three academic members to its collaborative community, Germany's Universitat Mannheim, Spain's Barcelona Supercomputing Center, and Russia's Joint Supercomputer Center (JSCC). These members have innovative viewpoints that can shape solutions for Power Architecture™ technology. They are eager to hold technical seminars at their facilities, offering the opportunity to discuss the latest developments on Power in university research. The first of these seminars will be held November 30th at the JSCC in Moscow, Russia. The JSCC seminar will feature technical presentations about Power
Architecture technology, Linux®, the latest technical information about
the MareNostrum system in Barcelona, JSCC and other leading Russian
university research, academic research conducted on Power Architecture,
and much more. If you have a topic you would like to present to this community, Power.org invites you to submit abstracts for consideration. For more information, and to register for the first seminar to be held in Moscow, Russia, on November 30, 2005, the JSCC seminar event page. |
